The Collaborated Meeting
of the Tokyo, Arakawa and Suginami SDCs
On Saturday, November 28th
in the Sunny Hall of Nippori

On Saturday, November 28th the collaborated meeting of the Tokyo, Arakawa and Suginami SDCs took place in the Sunny Hall of Nippori station. Leading the proceedings were the well-know callers from New-HiHat (American Record Maker Co.); Buddy Weaver from America, Tim Crawford from Canada, and Lone Blume from Denmark. Buddy had brought his second daughter Mele, while Lone was accompanied by her three friends. 200 members from across the three clubs were warmly welcomed by the chairpersons and everybody thoroughly enjoyed the evening - which flew by! Thanks must go to the Planning Committee who worked tirelessly to ensure that the meet was successful. Letfs dance SD together again soon and build on our friendship in the future.

Mr.Buddy Weaver
This is an honor to return to Tokyo and call for Japanese dancers. It was twenty-five years since my first visit; every visit is better than before. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Wada, Mr. and Mrs. Yaoko for all their hard work. Thank you Japan for support at HI HAT JAMBOREE.

Mr.Tim Crawford
I am very honored to be part of this square dance party. Japan is a beautiful place with very kind people and I very much look forward to returning some day. I enjoy calling the dancers of Japan. They dance with wonderful timing and rhythm. It is a pleasure to call for a group of smiling, friendly dancers. Again it has been a pleasure to call for you, and I look forward to a returning soon!

Ms.Lone Blume
I was very happy to be invited to Tokyo and I was looking forward to the visit. I brought 3 friends with me and we spend 1 week of holiday in this beautiful country. Everyone has been very friendly and helpful. We have seen some beautiful temples and also the weather has been very nice. We went to Kyoto for 3 days and we enjoyed the city. Again we were sightseeing temples: Golden Pavilion, The Imperial Palace and more. The colors in this country are stunning. Never have I seen so many shades of red and yellow. The maple trees were beautiful. The dance was a great experience. We really enjoyed your kindness and we have had a great time. All of you are welcomed in Denmark. Thank you.

The first time I came to Japan was a very fascinating experience. Being in such a large city had many wonders that was awe inspiring. I feel honored that everyone in Japan was so hospitable. I can't thank everyone enough for such a wonderful vacation.
